Adobe After Effects - Animation

Today, in our Adobe After Effects workshop, we got to create an animation.
We started off by creating a little character in Adobe Illustrator or using one that Sara had already made for us; i decided to make my own one very quickly.
It was something really simple, a red triangle with arms, legs and eyes.
I imported my character into Adobe After Effects once i had finished playing about with it, making sure that i import it as 'Composition - Retain Layer Sizes' which can be selected from the drop down.
This is my character now imported into Adobe After Effects and all set up to animate. The second image shows the layers i have that i can animate.
After clicking the drop down arrow on one of the layers, it reveals all the controls i need to actually make my character move around.
Here i have selected the left eye and am moving it around, each time i move anything, a yellow dot appears on the timeline.
I am moving the right eye in the opposite direction so they cross over and go back to where they were originally.
To go with the eyes and arms moving, i thought id move the legs too so it looked like it was dancing to music.
I copied the character (on the top left hand side) and duplicated it twice so it sort of looked like a music video. I also added a grey strip at the back/top so it looked like they were on a stage.

After i had finished tweaking, it was all finished and this is the final video.
